4. Cancellation and refund policy

To cancel, email Daniel.Grande@ymail.com.

5. Assumption of risk

Youth softball and related athletic activities involve inherent risks including contact with bats, balls, and equipment; collisions with other participants; falls; muscle strains, sprains, fractures, and other injuries; weather exposure; and other hazards inherent to outdoor athletic activity. By registering, the parent/guardian acknowledges and voluntarily accepts these risks on behalf of the participant.

6. Liability release

By registering a player, the parent/guardian releases CoachPilot LLC, its owner, employees, contractors, coaches, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising from participation in CoachPilot clinics, to the fullest extent permitted by Washington law.

7. Medical authorization

Parents/guardians authorize CoachPilot staff to seek emergency medical treatment for the participant in the event of injury or illness during clinic activities, if the parent/guardian cannot be reached immediately.

8. Media release

By registering, the parent/guardian consents (or opts out at registration) to CoachPilot's use of photos and video of the participant taken during clinics for marketing, social media, and program promotion. Media release preference may be updated at any time by emailing Daniel.Grande@ymail.com.

9. Code of Conduct

All participants, parents, and volunteers agree to abide by the CoachPilot Code of Conduct. Violations may result in removal from the clinic without refund.

10. Facility rules

Clinics are held at Tehaleh Heights Elementary under a facility use agreement with Sumner-Bonney Lake School District. Participants and parents agree to follow all school district rules (no smoking, no alcohol, no metal cleats on grass diamonds), not damage school property, and leave the facility clean at the end of each session.

11. Volunteer terms

Adult volunteers (18+) agree to complete required training (CDC HEADS UP Concussion, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest) before the first session, consent to a background check, follow the Code of Conduct, and abide by the two-adult rule (no adult ever alone with a minor participant). Youth volunteers (under 18) additionally require parent consent and remain under adult supervision at all times.

12. Intellectual property

All CoachPilot content is the intellectual property of CoachPilot LLC. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

13. Independent contractor status

Nothing on the website or in these terms creates an employment relationship between CoachPilot and any participant, volunteer, or contractor.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

CoachPilot's services are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about specific skill development outcomes, playing time, team placement, or future athletic success.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, CoachPilot's liability for any claim arising from these Terms or from clinic participation is limited to the amount of clinic fees paid by the participant.

16. Indemnification

Parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoachPilot LLC and its personnel from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their child's participation, their own conduct at the facility, or violation of these Terms or the Code of Conduct.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Pierce County, Washington.

18. Changes to these Terms
