We're looking for high school and select-level softball players to help coach at our Fall Softball Prep Clinic in Bonney Lake this August. This is your chance to give back to the game that gave you everything, and help the next group of players coming up behind you.
You'll work alongside experienced coaches, helping young athletes ages 7-13 learn the fundamentals of the game. These girls look up to players like you. Your presence, your encouragement, and your knowledge make a difference they'll carry with them.
- Demonstrate drills and proper technique for throwing, fielding, hitting, and base running
- Work one-on-one with athletes who need extra help or encouragement
- Assist pitching coaches with grip, stance, mechanics, and release drills
- Run small group stations during skill rotations
- Help with equipment setup and breakdown before and after each session
- Be a role model for young players who want to be where you are someday
- When: Wednesdays 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19 · Early slot 5:00-6:30 PM · Late slot 7:00-8:30 PM
- Where: Tehaleh Heights Elementary, Bonney Lake, WA
- Time commitment: Help with one session or all four, whatever works for your schedule. Arrive 15 min early, stay through cleanup
- Who: High school or select-level softball players. Must be at least 14 years old
- What to bring: Your glove, cleats, water bottle, and a great attitude
- Required before first session: Complete two short online trainings (see below). We check certificates at check-in.
Washington state law requires anyone helping coach youth sports to complete concussion and sudden cardiac arrest education. Both courses below are free, online, and use the same NFHS account — create it once, take both. Complete them before your first session. Save the certificate PDF, we'll check it at check-in.
Thank you for stepping up. The next generation of players thanks you.
